Our Shelter
Our shelter has helped over 4500 survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
Our safe home is a house with several bedrooms, each with 2 full-size beds in them, two bathrooms, and a huge backyard with a playset and deck. The kitchen, living area, laundry room, and bathrooms are communal.
You are not alone.
We offer emergency shelter to all people fleeing domestic violence.
We accept unaccompanied survivors over the age of 18 and survivors and their children (in school).
Many families arrive tired, hungry, hurt, and traumatized with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. RVSBWC provides food, clothing, linens and hygiene items at no cost.
